FREE Engagement Photo Day! Join us on Saturday, May 22nd!

A few of the other wedding photographers I know also organize a FREE engagement photo day in NYC. I thought it was a great idea and I wanted to extend this offer to my clients this year too.

Please forward this link out to any newly engaged couples still looking for the right wedding photographer too!

This day is specially designed for newly engaged couples who still haven't found the photographer to match their personal style for their wedding. This 30 MINUTE FREE engagement photo session gives us a chance to know each other better, you can see how I work, and this day gives you a chance for you to begin to get comfortable in front of a camera (before your big day filled with lots and lots of pictures).

You will leave your private photo session with beautiful pictures for your friends and family, full usage rights to your images for photo prints, social networking, and your wedding website.
After the photo session a DVD of images will be available for you with both color and black-and-white images for you to choose from.

One couple will win a FREE PHOTO GUESTBOOK for their wedding!

During your photo session you will also have the additional assistance of a professional makeup artist, Sue Perez, who will be there for touch-ups and styling.

Please note: This day may fill up quickly and there is a chance that not everyone will get an appointment! If you are interested in joining us, please email us by MAY 15th, 10AM at cyndi@cyndishattuck.com with the following information:

-- Your full names
-- Email addresses & mobile phone numbers
-- Your wedding date and location
-- A few sentences about how you met and your wedding plans

Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your new sparkly bling!

Hello Again Daniel

I've wanted to start a blog for the longest time, and here I finally am. Hello world! I hope to keep this blog updated with some personal images and a variety of photos and notes from my shoots and archiving projects each week. I hope you find it inspirational and helpful too.
I was delighted to get a call from one of my favorite event planners in NYC to shoot a private dinner at Daniel Restaurant on Friday. I had photographed a wedding there last year and it really is one of the finest restaurants in the world. Working behind the scenes there (and even getting to peek inside the kitchen) it is a place that runs like no other...the food, the service, the creativity. And the staff there pulls off every fine detail with elegance and ease. Both events I have been to there look like a ballet in progress when I watch from behind my lens.

Last Friday the event was an after-temple dinner for a young lady having her bat mitzvah the next day. What a gorgeous and warm celebration and wonderful family. The cake was just so amazing to me, so I wanted to share a few images with you too. It was completely handmade and truly unlike any other I have ever seen. Each blade of grass was a fine line of green icing...I could go on and on, but take a look. Yum.
